Friday's Letters

 Weekly thoughts (and letters):

Dear Houston, I'm a little peeved there's no snow. If you're going to bring the chill, could you at least put some magic into it? I'll forgive you this one time, since we finally discovered the hidden gem bar that offers $1 hot dogs on Fridays (with chili cheese fries on pretzel-buns, yum). Dear Zoey, I love you, but you are a massive bed hog. This is an intervention -- start understanding that you are a dog and therefore do not reserve the right to take over the bed (or chew on the comforter). Please and thank you! Dear (five-year-old) Elena, you are pretty adorable in your pink tutu, but I am not going to make you hot cocoa every single day and take you to get ice cream. I know your mom didn't actually give you permission to rummage through her makeup -- but nice try, kid. Dear sewing instructor, you don't know this yet, but I am going to kick butt in this beginners class. Get ready to see some super fly pillows and other home decor loveliness. P.S. - Please don't make fun of my lack of seam gauge knowledge and hate for fractions. I am already getting schooled by an 8 year old's math homework. #trueconfessions Dear new readers, you make me happy... very happy indeed!

  1. LOL I was humored when my first year of living in Texas (The Woodlands) it snowed and we all ran outside like we were 3 y.o. My problem is I need gloves in the morning and I'm sweating by noon. Fun to find you through Friday Letters :)
