Dear Friday,

I feel a little guilty celebrating that you're here because I didn't do anything this week. It was seriously like vacation. Dear A, I am so excited to pick you up from the airport. A week away from you is no fun; I can't believe we were apart 8 weeks a few months ago. Dear Lydia & Rebekah, I am equally as excited to pick y'all up from the airport! Get ready to put on your stretchy pants -- we are about to eat some good Texas food and I've been dreaming about this weekend for a while now. Dear Zoey, I swear you are growing into your puppy stage rather than out of it. You used to be lazy like me in the mornings... now you seem more pleased to stand over my face howling at me until I put my sneakers on. Dear House, I realize after living alone for a week that I am one messy lady. It's nice to have a reason to clean today, and I have to say I wish I had done it sooner. Dear Weekend, you're finally here! Yay! Party time!

  1. I had a very similar week - I had the entire week off from student teaching. And I am totally okay with doing nothing. HA. I'm glad I found your blog.. it's very cute!

    Happy Friday!

  2. Chelsea, thanks for finding me here :) And OH man I bet your break was fantastic if you're a student teacher.. that's hard work! About to stop by your blog. Thanks again for reading!

  3. Good for you for having a lazy week. I think we all need those. Hope your time with your friends has enjoying good food without the need of stretchy pants. :-) Happy Reunion and an even happier weekend.

    1. Thanks Kim! I agree, sometimes the laziness is much needed. :) I hope you're weekend was a great one! xo
